The kids farm is a no no.
Theres a catamaran that sails out of Mina Sayee every Friday at 3pm - 125 AED per person. free booze, a wee snack and use of the water sports facilities. Jet skis, banana/donut rides etcetera. afterwards you get a free drink at the hotel's barasti bar - returning at about 1930 - its an excellent afternoon out - a good idea for a load of us to go on!!
The normal touristy things are OK once or twice - the Iraian Souk in Bur Dubai is interesting followed by an abrah ride across the creek and a stroll along the dhow port - polished off with a trip to the gold market.
Dubai Museum is excellent and well worth a visit.

Desert Safari and Dinner Cruise on a dhow is also a must.
Trip to Hatta to see the 'alien' trees and a pit stop for a bit of sand skiiing or dune bashing is always a gr8 thrill.
Getting stuck in traffic during rush hour is something to experience aswell. LOL
The Oracle is very proud of TS's list! He has covered just about everything!
Did u get all that Chris? Oh and a trip to the Juice shop on the beach road..... sorry Joe.....dunno how that slipped my mind....... guess age is finally catching up on me. hahaha

If you like ur photography then a trip up to Fjueirah (spelt wrong) is a must as well... intersting mountains and so forth on the way...
