You can live and work remotely (international job) if you have a investor visa..."The Saudi Investor Visa, also known as the Golden Visa, is a residency program that allows foreign investors to obtain a residence permit in Saudi Arabia in exchange for making specific investments in the country's economy." e.g. you could purchase a house out right and fall under this category, set up your own security business
You can’t simply set up a security business if you have an investor visa. It’s really not as simple as that.

how about letting the person determine where he can/can’t work with his current employer. I know many people who do that.
I was saying what they can/can’t do on an investor visa…only they may well be other options for them to explore instead of just moving here and wishing for the best.
@author of the post…I a couple of people who have done what you’re thinking about…they are back in the UK within 6 months and still looking at their options. Do your research on alternative ways.

I think you’ll also find that security companies are typically not amongst permitted businesses for foreigners to own/start. I’m sure someone will correct if I’m wrong.

If that is a big move..how will moving to Saudi be of benefit? Do you know anyone here in the kingdom? It is a very socially isolated place to live. Difficult to meet people in general. Even western Muslims struggle in the mosques as they are outsiders.
