Don't think anyone is saying they shouldn't exist, more the fact that they're a bit of a pointless extravagance for the majority and that they are ten a penny here in Dubai already, so it's not like we need anymore. I can think of at least 6 that I know socially....

I watched two personal trainers in action today.

1) His client was on the rowing machine. He was just next to him - leaning/sitting on the cross trainer. Almost zero interaction between them - and the client wasn't being pushed at all.

2) She put her client on the cross-trainer, level was set low. Client not even sweating while they chatted. PT just standing next to her the whole time.

Good value for money that.
