More Traffic Chaos
According to today's Gulf News, the entire length of Al Wahda Road (ie. the Sharjah-Dubai Highway) from King Faisal Rd exit to the Gold Centre lights is to be closed for so-called improvement works. Does any regular traveller on this route know when the closure is likely to start as I was planning to use it on Monday afternoon?

OMG! what more roadworks?
they've already pretty much closed from the Gold Souk to Book roundabout which various diversions and one way systems - all it does it add to the rolla and emirates road backlog
