Meeting new mates in Doha, anyone?
Landed in Doha a month ago to work for a few years and I'm finding it a little bit tricky to meet people outside of work...
I know this forum isn't specifically for meeting people but I'm bored, so here goes... !
About me... I love travel and have done loads of back packing in the past, try and get to the gym a few times a week, like going tithe movies and hanging out beside the pool of whatever hotel I can sneak in to. In to photography. Used to do a fair bit scuba diving and hopefully I can get that going again soon. Enjoy and going out for drinks and having a few jars. Im From just outside London, easy going and i get a long with a broad ranges of ages....
Looking for like minded people to hang out with... Strictly platonic... Give a me a shout (private message) if you're up for meeting.

Snap, I'm languishing in Ezdan Hotel at the moment between commutes to the Industrial Area. If you even want someone to grab (lateish) dinner with, I'm in.

That's what too much time in the sun does to your skin!
It has been a couple of years since I left Doha, so things may have changed, but there were always lots of expats at the Irish Harp in the Sheraton and also the Sports Bar at the Ramada on Thursday nights. They should be a good starting point for you.

Rugby club is the best place to meet other expats. Its full of them at the weekends
