I've been working in software engineering as a contractor for over 20 years, all within the investment banking/finance sector.
I'd be interested in doing a short 6 month - 12 month contract in the middle east.
However, Im finding it difficult to find out salaries in the region and also the best agencies to contact regarding potential roles. Where would be the best place to look?
And are salaries of 125k-150k+ possible in this region for a senior software engineer?
Thanks

or have a look at Hays they also publish a salary guide.
I always suggest LinkedIn for anyone looking for a job.
My gut feel is that salary may be a stretch mainly because you will be competing against potential hires from countries with lower salary expectations. I could be wrong though.
