Unless it's become popular again, Scarletts isn't up to a lot. Me, I like the Barasti Bar, Buddha Bar, Jambase... but i am a bit of a flashy asian at heart....

scarletts is fully of trolly dollies if that's what you mean, inselaffen...!!! JVR, Apres is usually good on a monday, and the bars in the madinat (Bar Zar and Left Bank).

oh cool, lots of choice then.

Basically the situation is this - even back home i'm not big on the bar scene, at least not since uni.

But i do like people watching - somewhere i can spot the corporate set, the trolly dolly set, the hookers scouting for custom, locals behaving badly, English tourists, expat brats etc.

I go out so rarely since I've been here, hence the request for info on the best spots... think of it like an I-Spy book.

I'm thinking Monday because my little brother's flight back to BHX leaves on Tuesday morning 8am.

ok, then your perfect evening is to start at The Agency, Emirates Towers, for the corporate set...and move across the way to Scarletts for all the rest, lol...and if you want the hookers, then go up to Vus bar...
