OK then, you guys claim that there are other pressing issues such as the modern day slavery. Of course, conditions are less than favourable but everyone contributes towards it.

Have you boycotted the malls that you visit as they were built by slave labour? What about the hotels and bars, and maybe even closer to home, our homes themselves since they were likely to be built by indo-pak workers too on 500AED per month working in the 45-50 degree heat? I highly doubt it as you're probably too busy enjoying yourselves.


Claiming to be against slavery in all its forms is one thing, but acting upon and following it up with actions is another. This is a subtle form of hypocrisy.

If I remember correctly, many Premier League footballers also invested in the Palm Jumeirah with their slick marketing DVD and the developments were investigated by Panorama,they were seen to be endorsing the slave labour. Did they sell up? Probably not. On the contrary, they may well have bought even more...

Europe is riddled with this kind of poor girls.

Alexa, I just don't understand what, this spelling fusses all the about, the English language spelling, any way is going to be changed soon, so don't hold on to it, the demand from the European union to overhaul the English language spelling is mounting. This is their condition to accept english as an official language of the union, so write-it-as-you-hear-it kind of approach will have to be adopted world wide. Cat, for example would be spelled as kat, etc. That should effectively advance the good cause of humanity as one would concentrate on the context of the word not the silly spelling part of the word, like some of you here are so much obsessed with.
And as for Seven seas, your post reminds me of the old English practice of the Dark Ages of witch hunting , that practice off course, is now history but, the spirit is by all means not, old habits die hard mate.....
