tell you what though, we went to buy a mattress, asked for king size and he told us it was 20x20, turns out this is super king size - we went to buy a bed and realised that the one we want is only king size - so if we want that bed, which we do then we need a mattress - and we've been sleeping on the mattress for a fortnight, and it cost us dir 2,000.
So we're going to have to try and sell or get rid of the super and buy the bed we want and buy another new mattress.
What a f**kin pain.

had a bed in norway that was 2m wide and 2.20 long. was huge but had such a crappy matress that it was damn uncomfortable

yeah....bedsizes are very confusing over here...I am always struggling when I am doing houses for people to find the right sizes...In Holland we don't use names like queen and king size, we just give the measurements in centimeters so it's always clear what everybody is talking about...here it's a nightmare...
I wish I'd have known sooner about you sorting peoples houses out. You could have come and sorted mine out for me

I wanted a massive bed so went for the biggest!! Will have to try and find a picture.
Yeah... I'm feeling brave, dunno if I could take both you and MM on at the same time though!
