Just reassure me...

Just reassure me...
... So I can sleep at night!
After being offered a decent job ON the day I cancelled my family's visas, we're actually staying in Dubai for the next eight months.
So, making use of our original ticket to India, we're off on Sunday to see the folks and have a bit of fun before I start work properly in December.
My visa is fine - it's a freelance media zone which doesn't expire until 2013 and it will be transferred or cancelled when I get back and start working for the company.
My kids and husband's visas have been cancelled and they will almost be at the end of the grace period when we leave on Sunday. All so good so far.
We're planning on coming back in on 27th - please tell me there won't be any problems with them coming back in on a visit visa? Any issues with a cancelled visa then returning on a tourist one? Will I need any documentTion from my new company (I'm getting visas for the family from them)

Well done for securing another job! There shouldn't be a problem entering on a visit visa - loads of people do it. I presume they have Brit passports. Good luck and enjoy India.
