Hi all,
I have been offered a 3 year contract internally at the same firm. I am a 28 year old danish bachelor considering to relocate to Dubai in a few months. But I have a lot of doubt regarding the offer i have been given;
Basic salary: 210.000 AED
Housing allowance: 82.250 AED
Car allowance:18.000 AED
Bonus: 10.000 AED
Is this a decent salary in Dubai or are the trying to get me to cheap? Can I live a decent life meanwhile saving quite a lot ?
In my current position I make around 42.000 dkk (22.000 AED) a month and company pays 10 % in pension. I am traveling 150 days yearly get around 4.200 AED in compensation and all expenses paid. The income tax in Denmark is about 39 % and progressing when earning more.
Also, it need to be mentioned that I see the opportunity as something that could look good on my CV and a great experience. But would like to make a good saving to take home, meanwhile being able to live my life.
Hope someone can share their point of view and thoughts on this. Thanks

Depends on seniority and industry. Generally, in the region, if you have doubts, don't do it.
