Does JLT still have a traffic problem like it did back in like 2011/2012

I am only there from Thursday to Sunday mornings, but it is not too bad now. All the roads have opened up and usually flows pretty well.

Apparently it gets a bit busy onto SZR in peaks, but I am in Doha during the week and cannot comment. However,I am sure that most other entries onto SZR get busy during peaks..

The short answer to this is no. It's not perfect, there are still some roadworks ongoing, but the major stuff is all done.

For me getting out onto SZR in the morning takes a few minutes as I'm going 2/3rds of the way round the 'loop', I no longer have to sit in traffic just slow down for all the ****ing speed bumps. Likewise in the evening getting back in and round the 'loop' takes about the same length of time, compared to 30+mins at peak evening times a few months ago.

Thanks for that, any dramas with living in JLT in general?
I've lived in the marina and jbr previously.

It's a ****ing dream at the moment compared to 6 months ago.

I moving there at the end of the month. Mrs lives there as well. No dramas at all. It's perhaps not as "vibey" as the marina or JBR, but its cheaper and the traffic is better than either now.

I've only been into a couple of the buildings so not sure what the standard of them is like in general. The ones I've seen have been on par with marina or JBR.
