Cheers JB, didn't quite work. But I managed to use attachements. Where there is a will, there is a way.

doing the img tag is better if the pic is online because then it's a hot linking, so doesn't matter about the size of the pic, but if you do it as an attachment, as in your using a pic from your hard drive, then your limited to the size you can use

if youre wanting to insert a pic from your hard drive.. its easiest to upload it on a host site like imageshack.us .. then link it to the forum using the image tags that jellybean gave you..

Does it have to have the Forward stroke in the second image bracket ?

yes, that closes the tag, otherwise the site will thing it's a standard url and turn it into a html link instead of putting the pic up.
