if it's getting tiresome to you admon, vote with your feet. no need to come on here and start chucking your toys out of the pram because a few people have asked for some help and are looking to vent. no one is forcing you to read it and/or hang around.

As far as I'm aware, I haven't thrown any toys out of anything..

seems that it's others that are 'venting'.

I've simply made a point that its tiresome seeing the same old 'gosh shock horror how dare they sack me' every day..

It's happening all over the world, it's called a recession.

No, as others have said, it is instructive, and you don't have to read if you don't want. New people will be joining the board all the time, at least to view, and so current information will help.

I think the disconnect is between those who have been around a while and know the score, and the new arrivals who have bought into the hype and stand to fall.

I'm in the ME to earn money, I invest elsewhere. I rent furnished accommodation and lease a vehicle with the assistance of my company and don't get into debt. I can quickly pack my few boxes and my suitcase and be at the airport to get out if needed. Until the region transforms significantly, this will always be my way of doing things. However, I can easily understand how newer arrivals were conned into thinking this was a place you could act just like back home.
