I am in trouble!
I have been driving DH's Mustang for the last few days. Today I scratched the casing of the wing mirror against a pillar in the car park. Thankfully no other damage. It is a very notice white scratch/mark (on a black casing). The mirror itself seems fine and looks like it has sloted back in to place okay.
I am so angry :curse: As I was parking, there was some twat behind me getting very impatient so I quickly drove into a slot instead of taking my time.
DH will not be happy ... this is his baby.
Anyone got some black marker pen???

That I intend to do! I will just say some careless driver must have banged against it. If I say it was me, I will never be allowed to drive it again and I will never hear the end of it.

He signed up but has yet to make a post .. he found another site all about cars. Oh well, at least he can pour his heart out on that once he sees the scratch .. hee hee.

But on a more serious note, someone hit my rental car on Makhtoum Rd last wk and speed off, left witha dent and scratches. I managed to pull the dent out and polished off the scratches with FINISHING COMPOUND, its the best. Gave the car back today for another and passed on inspection. It really depends on how deep the scratches are.
