how do i get to...
...al ittihad road, deira, if i'm coming from jumeirah (al wasl) and heading towards sharjah...???
basically, i need to get to near the dubai police hq/the mazda showroom/the ramada continental hotel/al habtoor motors in deira, i've got maps for these once you're in the exact area, but they don't show me how to do the first part...do i go over garhoud bridge??
can anyone help...please...!

Head across garhoud bridge and stay in the left hand lane..

When I was there (about a month ago), you had to take the exit to al bustan rotana hotel on/after the garhoud bridge otherwise you ended up in Sharjah, drive passed the rotana hotel and take a left at the traffic signs, next lights right and go straight, you should drive right up to the police HQ

When I was there (about a month ago), you had to take the exit to al bustan rotana hotel on/after the garhoud bridge otherwise you ended up in Sharjah, drive passed the rotana hotel and take a left at the traffic signs, next lights right and go straight, you should drive right up to the police HQ

True!, last night I hailed a Taxi in the Gardens, Jebel Ali and asked to be taken to the Media Rotana Hotel, but he had no idea. Couldn't be bothered to show him so guided him to Jebel Ali Club which was also not on his radar!
