How difficult is it to extend a visa on arrival?
Hi,
Not strictly an expat but hopefully someone on here can share some knowledge. I am looking to go to Dubai for 6-8 weeks. I understand I will get a 30-day tourist visa on arrival (based on a UK passport) and there is some way of extending this, but I'm not sure whether specific reasons are required or how much hassle it is or how long you can extend for. The alternative is apparently a 90-day tourist visa, so I'm wondering if I should apply for that or if it's safe and easy enough to come in without a visa and extend later. Any advice appreciated!
