Hi All,

I noticed on the TES website that there are jobs available at both Horizon and Regent Schools.

I would be really interested to hear from both parents and teachers about their opinions of these schools. Although they appear on forum searches, I am not familiar with them.

As a teacher, go for Horizon, don't touch Regent

Thanks for the advice, as a teacher can I ask you why? Any ideas would be great.

There have been threads on TES about Regents, none have been positive. I know people who have worked there and not been happy.

I know teachers at Horizon. It is a nicer school who treat their staff well. It is also situated in a desirable area (Jumeirah) where it would be nice to live.

I would apply to Horizon, but hold fire for a while as all the 'Big Guns' will be advertising in the TES between now and Christmas. It's sign up time again!

Thanks VM, once again some really useful information provided. I may pop an application in to Horizon and see what else is advertised soon. Kings had jobs in the TES and I know GEMS had a standard 'send us your CV' type advert which I sent off.
