I'm trying to get an angle on expat salaries, hence the 100k start, are you saying there are expats earning less than 100k AED per annum, I wouldn't
have though than doable from the messages I've had recently...

I'm slowly realising that I've fallen at least once into the trap of thinking of expats as being affluent, white Westerners. If that's the case then what's the correct word to describe the poorer, dark-skinned expatriate population...bachelors, i suppose?
Oh by the way I heard it was raining in the south east but the Lakes, Wales etc was gorgeous. That true?
