How on earth is that ambulance supposed to get through. Hope it wasn't a genuine emergency. If so, maybe the victim's family should sue the Prophet Mohammed.

I think those photos are phenomenal. It's just amazing to see so many people. I hope each individual gets from that journey what they were hoping for.

I'm surprised at some of the comments in this thread. Grow up people.

Two harmless jokes, one critical statement, several compliments on the photos, and a few things about ambulances. Grow up? Perhaps you need to do that yourself--what d'you expect: glowing admiration, "ooh I wish I could be part of that", statements about how it all makes sense?

Many of us are equally as critical of "Western" religion as we are of any other: you show me pictures of the cheering throngs clearly idolising the Pope and I'd have a few words (or at least thoughts) to say about that. A grown-up response can take many forms, including poking fun. Equally, a grown-up perspective includes accepting comments--both critical and supportive--and trying to understand others' viewpoints.

Waqs isn't saying you can't comment...i think he's just questioning the slightly childish nature of some of the previous posts.
