Default Gross income VS offered package to move to Qatar

How much should someone expect to receive as an increase to their gross/net income after submitting their paystubs to a potential employer in Doha. Do they normally match the gross income or 1.X multiplier?

Do we compare the gross income to the overall package or just the offered base salary?
