I have a house in the UK out in the sticks and when I went back between tenants I found a gin bottle with what I assumed was sheep shit in it. I explained this to a neighbour who told me that the tenant had been making sloe gin and this was the manufacturing process - it is hawthorn berries pricked and pickled. Amazing stuff - not stronger but really nice.
I'm having a can of alcohol free heineken. And bag of crisps.
