Favourite Cites

That Gecko chappy got me thinking, and as most of us are fairly well travelled, i just thoought I ask about your favourite cities.
My top 3 are all Italian (I know, sorry guys) Milan, Verona and, top of the tree comes Rome.
Rome in the summertime, the friendly locals, the beautiful people and the amazing food, couple that with the fantastic history of the city of 7 hills and it just doesn't get better than that.
Oh and the ice cold grappa too.
My idea of heaven.
Anymore for anymore?

Sadly I haven't visited Italy enough but I did go to Sorrento a couple of years ago which was beautiful. A plate of prosciutto and mozzarella drizzle in olive oil while watching the sunset over the bay of naples...
Other two would have to be New York and Paris.

Paris is wonderful.
Hong Kong is superb.
Barcelona was quite good, especially the Nou Camp.

I'm not kidding though.
New York is fantastic, full of Americans who aren't particularly keen on the rest of America and don't get excited by an English accent. It's also full of lunatics which is highly amusing.
Paris is great, a beautiful city, great food and surprisingly friendly for a city populated by french people.

Durham.
Sunderland.
Newcastle (Would have been Chester-le-Street, but not a city last time I checked).
