Default Eurgh, cockroach type bugs

We've had a few bugs this week, not loads, about 4 in the last week - they look like cockroaches but are smaller and softer, they don't have the hard back, mrs spugsy hates them - anyone know what they are and how to get rid of them?

Think maybe they are crickets, I thought they were cockroaches when I first saw them but if you listen they chirp (thats if you want to get that close)

hmmm, well they don't move very fast, and I've never seen one jump!
