I've just been given 2 tickets from work, but on the website it seems the games start at 2pm, but I won't get there til after work at about 6.30/7,

are there later games or will they all be over and done with by then?

If it is for today then try to get there for around 3.30pm.

Sania Mirza is playing and there's always a decent atmosphere for that

2 tickets for today, I don't finish til 6, any idea of there are evening games and who's playing? they're in the grandstand - whatever that is, probably the cheap seats?

Grandstand just means in the main area, not the VIP section.

The stadium isn't so big that you won't have a good view wherever you sit.

hmmm only has 2pm matches on there, nothing about evening matches.

Maria Sharapova has just pulled out of the tournament with an alleged virus. She probably doesn't need the money having just won the Qatar Open at the weekend. They are showing it live on Dubai TV both weeks.

They shifted the Mirza game to the evening, presumably as she was the next biggest draw after Sharapova on that day.

Average game, great atmosphere.

Mirza playing Jankovic tonight. Henin also in action today - should be a good day. I'll pop up in the afternoon

that was the game we saw, the other girl was rubbish! she could hardly hit it back over the net, limp wristed bird!

Hope to get tickets for the mens soon as well, that should be better.
