Just heard on the radio that England just beaten Samoa now in final with Fiji - or at least I think thats what it said

Great fun (Was in Emirates corporate hosp tho)
Went down to the BPAir stand, WTF, worse than any footie game I've been to, after stepping over the snogging couples and just missing the puke, met up with my mate, then got showered with what I think was water, and ended up being smacked in the face with a bucket! (some cruel people might say it made an improvement). Hastily reconvened to EK.
Brits abroad dressed in faux Burberry from Karama, with Heineken in them. Dontcha just love em.
On a serious note I thought the warm up band were great, put the (alleged) Rolling Stones Tribute (Via Jimmy Dix) to shame. Didn't queue for a taxi at 11.45 either!
Roll on next year, can we make it 3 in a row. And our #9 was absolutely amazing!!

Also was there any arrests? Letter in 7 days says some one flashed their breast and saw a few fights. Think a few knocks on the head with a baton and a month in jail might calm things down a bit, quite glad I didn't get tickets for the firday then now. We had a pleasent couple of hours on the thurs with out 6 yr old and it wasn't that bad. bit of swearing but then youve got to expect that. But beer cans and buckets being thrown then its getting to much.

There was a scuffle in the BP stand on Friday (fight may be a bit strong a description), but not sure if arrests were made. The water throwing was taken in good humour at first when small amounts of melted ice were splashing around. Once ice and buckets were being thrown it wasn't amusing to 99% of people there, last year that sort of behaviour was stopped by people within the crowd. Seemed to have attracted a few more louts this year.
Hope to see an improvement on this next year - Dubai 7s has got a good reputation and would be a shame to see it suffer because of a minority (and I can't see police here allowing behaviour like this to continue).
