Dubai Attested educational paperwork issues
Hi there
This is my first post here but am in need of some potential help.
I have an offer for a job beginning in September in Dubai, and the company have just started contact on the visa front.
Everything seems to be okay although I've been asked to provide an attested educational certificate.
I hope this isn't an issue but I don't hold a degree from the UK or elsewhere. I did not need a degree to get the job I have been offered, but am wondering what I may be able to use instead?
I went to high school in Canada and then returned to the UK in 2011.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Ask the company?
It may be an issue or it may not, but if it is, it's best to know about it now rather than further down the road.
The company should be aware from reviewing your CV and interviewing that you don't have any higher education certificates, so ask the person requesting you for this, what they suggest you do.

Re: Dubai Attested educational paperwork issues
as per the advice from Gavtek .... ask the company
From my recent experience, I transferred within my company (so not a new job) I don't have a degree and even though I have a lot of up to date professional qualifications, for my visa application I still had to get my highest educational certificates attested from when I was at school in the late 70's ! .... I had to apply to the exam board to reissue my certs and then get them attested. The certificates took 8 weeks to reissue but fortunately I had been given a heads up by my employer for this so applied ahead of time and it didn't cause a delay.

The highest educational certificate that you hold, should be attested - if you need help with what that means, please ask.
