Hi I am a British Expat living in Bahrain and currently on a tourist Visa for 3 months, I also have a valid KSA visa until January 2023.
I was planning on driving with some bahraini friends from Bahrain to Qatar on Sunday 4/09/22, via the cahseway but I have been informed this might not be possible??
Could anyone help me with this or let me know what I will/would need to do.

Are you taking a rental car? If so, I think you will encounter problems because you're not a resident of Bahrain.

If it's a private car, so long as your license permits you to drive in these countries then why not.

I have to ask why would you though. Just fly and have more time when you get there.

Unremarkable and boring landscape. It won't be that fun. I've done near enough 200k km in Saudi and very few of those drives have been interesting.

If you're in the Asir mountains somewhere then maybe, but not for what you propose.

Hi I am going with bahraini nationals in their car so everything is sorted vehicle wise. We're going to see people in Saudi then drive to Qatar just for a road trip experience. I have the beaware app and registered on it, I also have the Qatar approval registration form., I'm just not sure if I need a pcr before hand or I can get one at the qatar boarder?? Also I'm pretty sure the UK passport doesn't need a tourist visa either.
