Default Doha: What are usual Ramadan offers for NEW Cars?

Hi guys,

What are usual Ramadan offers for buying brand new cars? How much is the discount and any other additional perks offered?

I am mainly looking for BMW (new BMW X6) and Nissan (All New Patrol) offers in particular...

The discount varies but look to get full insurance thrown in and maybe a service or 2. Service doesn't matter with the BMW as it comes with 3 year warranty and service package anyhow. BMW are the worst dealer in Doha though and the worst service department so beware.

I am trying to justify myself buying x6 and splashing the cash....New Patrol wouldn't make me really happy...and X6 really makes me excited....but still need to convince myself puting down extra 100k QAR for BMW would be a good decision...trying to think what would make me happy in a longer run...definetelly don't want to buy Patrol and then after 2 months start thinking again about BMW....

Now brit got me worried a bit about service quality of BMW...but then again if it's free for the first 3 years I should be Ok i guess..

To be fair the issues are usually with older cars, customers being told they need to spend QR70,000 on new gear box etc when the only fault is a QR200 sensor.

Think about depreciation too, X6 will drop like a stone - I have a 2013 5.0 M Sport that's QR429,000 new - Its now worth about QR350 and has done a few hundred KM's. The patrol will never cause you that much pain! You could get the 400bhp Patrol not the 300 though?

I drove a Patrol a few months ago for a few days and you get instant respect on the road , people immediately think you're a Qatari and just move out of the way .

Tint the windows and flash the neon lights and you'll never look back !

Nissan Doha sent me today offer for cash 250k QAR.... is there a chance this might go down additionally during Ramadan? I can still wait another 1-2 months before buying a new car...

Are you happy with your BMW?

Its not the top model, that is the 400bhp LE and retails over 320. Full option 320bhp is an SE that they have quoted and its way too expensive. Worth no more than QR230.

Thx for hint. I guess I need to be litle bit more aware about local agents wording in their comunications...probably he wanted to say TOP SE Model avaialble...

....going to do litle more reaserch....my planned budget is around 350k....if I can save and pay less than that it would be great....

P.S. the good thing about Nissan (not only the price) is potentially taking it to inland sea for some dunne bashing....i guess for X6 it would be NO NO....

The X6 is all about the driving on tarmac...........Worst car in the world off road! Patrol is excellent off road though......I have sent you a message about it.

That big beast patrol is a lot of car to take off-road. Too much plastic too.

The old super safari is amazing off-road. The fat polar bear that's built on an Armada ... I'm not so sure. I would not make a decision to get a patrol based on it's off-road capabilities.
