Doha / Qatar documentation
Hi everyone!
I was hoping some of you will have gone through the same process as I am not getting much help from my employers (yes I have also checked the official gov website but I just want to double check!)
I’ve been asked for 4 documents to get done before moving - my degree, transcripts, letter from university and my school certificate.
I have been quoted £45(??!!) per document for certification, £30 for FCO and £25 for the Qatar Embassy (plus postage to all of these as I live in Scotland) so I am looking at over £400 for the documents alone? Is this correct or am I really being charged an arm and a leg for the certification part? It seems a lot to me but perhaps that is what everyone has to pay and I’ll just have to!
Any experiences with this would be greatly appreciated as I am nervous about going already and the documentation process is not helping!

Re: Doha / Qatar documentation
Last time I went trough the process back in 2012, I just needed my Degree and a Police Clearance (Basic Disclosure from Disclosure Scotland worked). Both documents needed four signatures, Attested by a UK Solicitor, UK FCO, Qatar Embassay in London and finally the Ministry of Stamping Things in Qatar near Gulf Interchange on the C-Ring Road. I used these folks to do everything, no problem: https://www.argentum-llc.com/country...es.php?c=Qatar
