Default Do you reckon the government has golden handcuffs ready?

Thinking about the ludicrous levels of inflation in Dubai, I got to wondering - do you think that if any major company announced that it was relocating out of the UAE in order to reduce its costs, the government would step in and offer it sweeteners in order to stay?

After all, the negative publicity if any such companies were allowed to move out of the UAE would be extremely damaging, and the government certainly offered enormous incentives to the early TECOM companies in order to come to Dubai in the first place (the government more-or-less paid for the construction and fitting-out of business premises and offered them rent-free for the first five years, etc).
