One thing that isn't explained, or perhaps I haven't grasped it, is what was wrong with having a normal UAE will that is not DIFC-registered. How did people manage before that was introduced? Prior to the DIFC option there was no guarantee that the wishes of the settlor would be observed in the Dubai courts. Even if it was written well, translated and attested the final decision rested with the judge in court on the day. |
