Which is the best place to live? Are the differences between the two quite great?

Are many expats in Dharan active in yachting there? Is it a good place to learn?

I'm going to Dhahran. I have spent a bit of time in Riyadh so think I am making the right decision. It is generally more chilled, driving is better. Closer to Bahrain and the UAE and has beaches.

Although there is still the off chance that I may end up in AD, but in the meantime I will deffo be i n Dhahran in mid-Jan.
