I am looking for some info of how much will it cost to see the dentist for the initial exam and routine cleaning?

Yup, I would agree with the previous post..Anyway, keep in mind that most insurance companies will cover up to 2000 Derham of composite or amalgamation fillings, panorex besides gum treatment....scaling or cleaning are not covered under most of policies.

Now, if you `re willing to pay cash. Basic consultation will cost you up to 350 derham. unspecified cleaning would cost you up to 800 derham...

Yup, this routine cleaning is called (Gum Treatment) so I conced to be roughly 250-350 Derham *Cash basis*..Yet, advanced procedures like scaling or cristal cleaning (frequently applied with Laser) cost up to 600-800 per session..

in another venue, I do not see Qatar to be less expensive than its Gulf counterparts in terms of medical treatments` expenses.
