Any recommendations for places in Dubai for a nice evening dinner (buffet, probably) with drinks included, for not a lot of money? $100 per head, give or take?

Would be more than 50 people... and Friday brunch is not an option

the Millenium Hotel in Al Barsha are doing corporate events. I can strongly recommend them. Food is excellent

Agreed - the Pergolas buffet at Al Murooj Rotana is still my favourite.

Apart from buffet breakfasts, a la carte is so much better, although I did go to a nice buffet at The Palace in the Old Town.
