I was just wondering what opportunities there would be for someone like myself in Dubai - I am a comlementary health therapist - providing body work ie massage therapy (deep tissue/shiatsu), Reflexology and Reiki. In the UK I work in a private complementary health clinic which offers full holistic health -physiotherapy, acupuncture, homeopathy etc etc.

I am interested in integrated healthcare and I also do alot of work with cancer patients too.

you would probably be able to get a job in a spa, the new Raffles Hotel are recruiting at the moment. Also try Wafi City - the Pyramids Club - www.waficity.com - they have a huge Health and Leisure Section with Spa's in alot of different hotels. It isn't well paid but it is worth coming for the experience of living in Dubai.

do a search on Dubai Healthcare City as well, that looks as though it is finished and is bound to be recruiting

I may join my husband (full time) at a later date, if things work out for him in Dubai from September. So we'll see

But at the moment I am liking the idea of spending my free time in Dubai
