Does anybody know of anywhere in AD that converts cash into coins? In the UK most supermarkets have them but I haven't seen any out here. I've got a jar full of fills that I would to change.

nope no such things here, they dont like the dirty brown ones...! remember you are not in the uk. just try and use them, lulu/car4 will not take them, abelas will as part of your change etc, i do not think they will take kindly to you going in with a big bag, the only place that may do it would be your bank, did you think of trying there?

Thanks BB2, I did think of the bank, but I can just imagine the hassle of doing something as simple as that. I'll give it a go this week.

Just use them in supermarkets? Am so fed up with being offered chewing gum instead of coins for change because they don't (apparently) have any coins in their tills.

Our office boy volunteered to take mine to the bank - I gave him 10% and he was happy.

There is one in Meana Port, next to Costless Electronics. I used it the other week.

We used to do a rough count and then just drop them off at one of the local corner shop's and tell them I would be back next day for the cash. They count and then had notes waiting when I went in. Always worked for me......

Can you buy that in a spray? Would make a fortune, one whif and it's gone!
