Was wondering whether any BE members could shed some light on 'The Club' in AD. Seems to be a pretty nice alternative to the beach clubs/ gyms in town. Would be great if any member could share any insights.

used to be the muts nuts, but the last time I was there was 20 odd yrs ago so dont know now. The fact its still going says it cant be half bad

We're members, its good, beer is cheap (12 Dhs/pint), food is good and the private beach and pool are great. If you are a single person or a couple, you can get membership pretty much straightforward. Family memberships (with children) have a waiting list. We waited six months for a membership.

Fees are steep in the first year due to a joining fee but get more reasonable after that.

It gets extremely busy on a Friday but mid week is pretty empty.

thats gone up three dhs since I was last there!!!!!!! going to be like DXB soon and charging 26 dhs a pint!!!!!!

the club in AD is like the country club here which I think is 18 a pint. How much is a pint in the UK???

dunno but a bottle of bud at manch airport cost me nearly £4 last year
