Au contraire, ma petite afflouette,
This is a GOOD thread - it is specific and its point is briefly and succintly explained......... which means it can be hijacked and taken anywhere you want it to go.
Which reminds me.............
Did anyone see that comment from Nicole Kidman that nearly all the women who worked on her latest film became pregnant? She attributed it to a waterfall they all swam in............
............ but personally I reckon it was because they all had sex.........

How about a nice question, relevant to the news at the moment?
Lord Thomas Cochrane, the real life 'Master & Commander' and a navy hero, was stripped of his knighthood and sentenced to the pillory. What was his crime?
Again Google is allowed if you really don't have any clue . Though I'd expect you all to have a thorough knowlege of naval history and if not you really must visit the Imperial war museum in London .

Good sport . I'll give you a clue then, it has something to do with the recent activities of the Securities & Exchange Comission (SEC) and Financial Services Authority (FSA). Being caught means a big slap on the wrist, but it's difficult to catch people doing it .
I'll check for answers tomorrow morning .

I suppose we will have to wait until some director like Mel Gibson or the fledgling Scottish film industry creates a blockbuster movie on him...unlikely ever to be done in England though... as was the case of a certain William Wallace, who was regarded as a traitor.
Also, hope one day to see a decent movie on John Paul Jones, a tiny (5-foot) Scot who built up the American and Russian navies.
I think he was up for fraud, but I don't know the details.
