Thanks for the replies guys. I'll give it a go although like the man says these cigars are for special occasions only ie on a decent golf course although looking into golf courses in Oman it looks like I might as well leave them at home

Maybe, but apparently they are building a grass golf course next to the airport - hurray. Got to wait till 2009 though Till then its a sand course and a piece of astroturf - bit different to what I'm used to!

my hubby has played sand golf for ten years here in Dubai, no problem! Gala Wentworth is a nice club with a great crowd of people, give it a try!

Brown golf at Ghala Wentworth is certainly better than no golf at all, but just barely..
