Business visa 30 day extension.

Business visa 30 day extension.
So here's me query...
I am currently in Saudi on a 180 day business visa (from uk) and was wondering if its possible to get an extension on the 30 day exit re entry rule. I am required to leave by the 19th of July but have a family commitment in the Uk on the 3rd of August so will be leaving then. Does anybody know whether I can extend my duration till then so I don't have to make a pointless journey to the Bahrain border ?
