It doesn't have to be in Massive Gold bars it can be a heavy necklace or bracelet, however you can buy small gold bars which are small enough to carry in a Suitcase, Briefcase

You guys pay tax on income earned outside of that.... okay, for safety reasons let's call it a landmass named the UK?

My Appolgies - this is a monthly newsletter that goes out to a large database.

I am unaware how you became registered on the database but will ask our IT people to remove you on Sunday

Not necessarily. If you fufil certain criteria, then you're considered non-resident and hence not liable for UK tax. Typically that means living outside the UK for X number of days per year for three years or more.

I'm not in Dubai yet - will be at the end of March!

And I'm not a financial adviser or tax specialist... I just did some searching around the Inland Revenue website! They have a whole section dedicated to expats.
