Now i cant be ersed trawling throu the previous threads to find out if the same has been done on here regarding pizza's as was done for burgers and curries etc
On Thursday i called 800-Pizza and i have to say it was the best Diavola pizza i have EVER had in Dubai (and by god i have troughed a few!)
thin crust, wood fired, just the way i like it
ALMOST as tasty as the americano from Bella Napoli in Kilmarnock Road in Shawlands, Glasgow. But not quite!!!
Where is your favourite in Dubai??, previously for me it was Round table pizza but not any more
Even the pretentious wannabee's on here surely slum it with a pizza sometimes?

my name is Alessandro, I am the Italian owner and pizza chef at "800PIZZA" in Barsha, Dubai (beside the Mall of the Emirates) and only last night one of our customer told us that there was a very nice feedback about our pizza right on this forum so here I am. I would just like to say thank you for your appreciation, I make my pizzas by hand, by mean of wood rolling pin and hard hand work, I bake them in our Italian wood-fired stone oven and I use only original Italian ingredients, our flour is from Naples (South Italy). I would like to invite you to taste our "Margherita Napoletana" next time...it's made with Italian "Galbani" mozzarella and "Buffalo" mozarella from Caserta (South Italy), it's my favourite, we also add a pinch of Parmesan cheese on top (Reggiano quality from north Italy) and fresh basil. Please do come over sometimes to see how we make our pizzas, it is rather entertaining and our small shop has a real Italian feel, unfortunatelly we only have a couple of tables outside and now the weather does not allow seating outdoor although last night we had some Italians that just couldn't care less and could handle anything just for a taste of our pizzas. Please do try our pizza as soon as it comes out of the oven as it does taste twice as good.
