They blamed it on the UAE regulator, and said it'd be ok if I had a mortgage. Uh, well, ok.

Thanks! I'm pretty ok. Living in Tanzania now. Decided Geneva was just too dull... Got 3 working limbs and a shitty old car. Whohoo. Hope you're good, and glad to see the UAE flag is still flying. Yes, the bloody huge one.
Once the Tanzanians sort out my residency, I'll drop by Dubai for a proper visit. Someone let me know where the cool kids drink these days.

ok guys here, is my story so in the UK at the moment and done quite well with my stock investment( mange to buy an appartment) cant cash out cuz of tax hassle all that, so i thought i open an account in dubai and do international transfer to UAE bank. no money lauding dear

I had a savings account with debit card with NBAD while not having a resident's visa for several years but did own a property in Dubai. I had to switch to them when Barclays closed down and they were OK. Of course you can transfer money in and out of your account. I was with the MOE branch - used to be queues though.

Your employers at NBAD will not be impressed with this kind of poor promotion and I will bring it to the attention of very senior staff if you don't stop. This pathetic attempt at advertising is also contrary to UAE Central Bank rules so stop it now.
