Not the latest supression of the majority shocker, more a request for advice on decent hotels and bars in Bahrain.
Group of us heading there after Eid to celebrate a milestone on the project here in KSA.
Looking for decent hotel, reasonable rate, not the Ritz Carlton, and pubs/bars maybe with live music that are worth a visit.
Regards

Diggers bar at the Delmon International Hotel is, err, eye-opening. Forget the hotel itself, though--the rooms are rather more tired and sad looking than many of the, ahem, waitresses in Diggers.

I called reception one evening after they put me in a room over the 'nightclub' wing asking that they come and remove the band that appeared to be performing in my bathroom. They relocated me.
I'm looking for something maybe a bit more mid range...

Gulf Hotel is also a good place to stay. Decent prices, nice rooms, okay bar downstairs and close to restaurants and bars...
