according to my knowledge which i was told by a british friend of mine that Aussies are originally criminals from Britain, which were place on this country Australia long ago by the british empire!
can someone pls enlighten me?
alos Australia belongs to the aboriginals not whites! and the whites are at the moment chanting anti-lebenese slogans and tellling them to get out of their land
Can someone pls enlighten me?

I know nadda about what's happening in Sydney at the moment but I do know that britain did send convicts to australia for even the pettiest of crimes.
Not all immigrants to australia at that time were convicts but it was certainly the majority.
Australia these days has a terrible record in race relations - esp. with the aborigines.

let them do the same... instead of shooting guns, burning down cars and throwing stones at people! just because they look middle eastern. Brazilians, Greeks and spainards dont have to killed for the crimes of "Middle easterners"

aborgines cannot win back their land as their popualtion is relatively low compared to the 'whites'

Australia has a long history.
10 years ago it was the Chinese and the Vietnamese, in the past it's been the Greekingese, now it's the Lebanese, and of course, it's always been the Aboriginese.

The point I was making is that the poor oppressed white Australian has always had an ethnic group that it sees as 'causing trouble'
From the inidiginous population daring to have the cheek to ask for their land back, to the Chinese and Vietnamese (for being hard working and entrepeneurial it seems) to the Greeks and the Croat/Serb immigrants and now onto our overdressed friends from the Middle East.
It's a tough life being an Aussie. I had a quick glance at the Oz boards and was more than a little shocked by some of the attitudes on display there.
