Hello,

I have just moved to to Arabian Ranches from Kuwait but don't really know anyone yet.

I was wondering if there are any clubs or activities in AR or near by? (For adults not really kids as ours are in UK boarding )

Have joined Fitness First and am a regular at Ibn Battuta.

Love to any talk to any other newbies or AR locals!

Kuwait, eh? I lived there years ago - I'm sure you're going to enjoy Dubai a lot more...

There's a regular meet-up of Dubai BE posters on Monday nights for a pub quiz - as well as irregular nights out.... watch out for posts in the Sandpit announcing these.

God, i remember drinking flash cut 50% with water - i'm amazed i'm not blind as a result!!

God, only tried Saudi 'Sid' once, and decided that if I needed a drink that bad, I would simply cross the causeway from Dammam to Bahrain.....Yeeeeuuuuggghhhh!!!!!!!

They do quiz nights in the golf club at Arabian Ranches (Tuesdays I think), also food is not bad there.

Not been in over a year though, so not sure if it is still the same.
