Any thoughts on Cairo?
I have the opportunity to do some english teaching there next year (I just got my TEFL qualification! YAY! ) and am really intrigued by going over to the ME to do some teaching for a while - and learn Arabic at the same time (I hope)
So can anyone tell me about what it's like over there? The culture, nightlife, fashion, music, scene (if any) hehe ... I've googled some things, but I find personal experiences more informative. I really have no idea what to expect, and I've lived in London for the past four years, so I'm wondering how big of change it would be. I'm really into my music, fashion and entertainment, so ... well yea.
(p.s I'm still just thinking about it, my options are open ... )
Thanks!

My doctor in Kuwait said that if you go to Cairo it is a 50-50 chance of getting Hep B (?) or some other awful food poisoning related illness .
