I presume by 'Saudi girl' you mean a Saudi national? This is a daft question, but isn't any bloke who befriends/associates with you, without your parents permission, likely to suffer dire consequences if 'caught'.

I would be surprised if you get any western (or any nationality I guess) taking you up on your offer.

I lived in Saudi for 3 years. 1 western couple (b/f and g/f) were caught in a car together. They were jailed and deported.

I also spoke to a saudi (married) bloke, who, after a family get-together, drove his wifes, female friend home. He was stopped, jailed and given lashes.

These are the kind of consequences I am talking about.

I would think your situation (with b/f, without fathers knowledge) runs the risk of far greater consequences.

You say your b/f is western. Is he Muslim? if not he he must be even more crazy taking such a risk.

I don't think there's any problem with online friends, but I'd be very very careful about meeting.

I avoid being out with my Saudi female colleagues in coffee shops etc. in Riyadh.
