what is the Visa application, and what do they need to get me a Visa. I mean my school reports were not that good, or is it just checking I am who I say I am (passport check etc)

I presume they mean residency visa. It's so you can stay & work there.



When I gave presentations I used to say that there wre no stupid questions, only stupid answers. I didn't mean it of couse!

Basically, your passport and birth certificate, your employer will do everything else, and if you want to sponsor your wife and kids (assuming you have) then you'll need your marriage certificate and your wife/kids birth certificates.

At least that's how it is in Dubai.

Bring originals and photocopies of birth certificates, marriage certificates, university degree, driving license...you should be OK without school reports though.

You get them from the Internet.

Very cheap, and accepted in all major companies in the Middle East.

Thanks all. The company already has all that info, and yes it is residency visa, and I am sponsoring wife and the little darlings, so they have copies of these as well.
